What Is a Reddit Free-Form Ad?
A Free-Form Ad is a Reddit ad format that mixes text, image, video and GIF in a single promoted post — unique to Reddit — so an ad can read like a genuine long-form community post instead of a banner.
Why funnels use them
Reddit punishes transplanted ad creative and rewards posts that read like a Redditor wrote them; Free-Form is the format built for exactly that. In Kronos's Reddit library it anchors the community-targeted lead-magnet play — paired with the organic participation protocol, because on Reddit the funnel starts weeks before the ad.
